Getting started
Introduction
Bazuva is a commerce platform for running an online store or marketplace across the Global South, starting with Bangladesh. You sell from your own storefront, take cash on delivery or online payments, send parcels with your courier, and run the whole store from one admin panel, in English or Bangla. This page explains how the parts fit together and where to go next.
The three parts of Bazuva
Your organization
When you register, you create an organization. It is your business on Bazuva. An organization can hold one store or several, and it has its own members: owners, admins and members. Owners and admins can create stores and manage members; members can open the stores they are added to.
If you run two separate businesses, you can create a second organization from your list of organizations with New organization. Each organization keeps its own stores and members.
Your store’s admin panel
Each store has its own admin panel. This is where you add products, take orders, set up payments and delivery, build pages and decide who on your team can do what. The menu on the left groups everything by what you are doing: selling, the catalog, marketing, content, the store itself and its settings. You can also press the search box at the top of the panel to jump to any page or setting by typing its name.
Some entries in the menu may show as Locked. They belong to parts of Bazuva that are not switched on for your store; opening one shows a sample of the page and how to get it.
Your storefront
The storefront is the website your customers see. It starts at an address on Bazuva made from your store id, and you can connect your own domain later. You decide how it looks with the page builder: start from a ready-made site kit, then change the pages, the header and the footer as you like.
Customers browse your products, search, filter by category, add to the cart and check out. They can pay on delivery or online, follow their parcel, and keep an account with their orders.
Languages
The admin panel works in English and Bangla, and each person chooses their own language. Your storefront can be read in the languages you choose for the store, and dates, numbers and prices are shown in the reader’s language and digits. Amounts are shown in taka, such as ৳1,250.

- Add your first product: a category, a product with its price, images and stock.
